What does the error "relaying denied" from mail server mean?

The MX entries point to your server which comes with a preinstalled mail server. By
default the server will reject any mail which is sent there for relaying to other
mail servers (relaying denied).

Most providers will reject e-mails from servers which are not sufficiently
protected from abuse, as these are frequently used for sending SPAM. For that
reason, the relaying feature is disabled by default.

If you want to use your server as SMTP Server you need to edit the sendmail
configuration or use SMTP AUTH.

For SMTP AUTH, your e-mail client (e.g. Outlook) must log into the mail server
before sending e-mails. A description on e-mail client setup can be found within
our normal FAQs >Setting up e-mail clients like MS Outlook,
Outlook Express and Netscape Mail.
