Why won't the server boot back into normal mode from the rescue system?

For Linux Dedicated Servers only!Linux Dedicated Servers Only!

          arrow1&1 Home (MS/Linux)
          arrow1&1 Business (MS/Linux)
          arrow1&1 Developer (MS/Linux)
arrow1&1 Website Servers (formerly called managed servers)

When issuing a reboot command from the Linux Rescue System command prompt, the server will reboot into the Rescue System once again. This is because the server's boot option can only be set from the 1&1 Control Panel from the Recovery Tool section. You will need to chose the Normal boot option from the Recovery Tool page and choose to Reboot Now in order to boot the server back into the normal operating system installed on the hard drive.
