How do I set up an auto-responder?


Step 1:

Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel using your Customer ID OR domain name and your password at: http://admin.1and1.com

If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page. If you have more than one package, select the Packages tab at the top. Select the package in question to reach its Administration page.

Step 2:

Click the E-mail icon from the Basic Settings section.

Step 3:

Select an e-mail address to set up an auto-responder and click the Settings button.

Step 4:

Click the Edit button next to Auto-responder.

Step 5:

Select to turn the auto-responder On.
Enter a Subject for the mail that will be sent as a reply to received mails.
Enter a name in the From text box. This is the name that others will see when they receive your auto-responder message.
Enter a Message for the auto-responder e-mail. This will be the body of the e-mail.

When finished, click the Next button.
