What is an Expense Notifier?


An Expense Notifier notifies you about any additionally charged items to your package within the billing period.

To set up your Expense Notifier, please follow these instructions:

1. Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel using your Customer ID OR domain name and your password at: https://admin.1and1.com

Click on the Account tab at the top of the page.

2. Select Expense Notifier from the Package Information section.


3. Click Set Up for the package for which you want to set up the Notifier.

4. Set the limit and click Set Up.

Once that limit is reached, an e-mail notification is sent to you.

Setting up a Notifier will only send you an e-mail. It will
not freeze at the set amount. For example, if you set your Expense Notifier to $1.00
and you used 2 extra GB of traffic, you will receive an e-mail because you used
$1.00 ($.49 per extra 1 GB). This is only a notification. Your website will not
be shut down.
